  • The Washington State LWV is holding virtual 2020 Primary candidate forums of candidates for statewide offices. View them here.
  • Candidate Statements can also be found through the Washington Secretary of State’s website.
  • Vote Smart‘s mission is to provide free, factual, unbiased information on candidates and elected officials to all Americans. Incumbents and candidates with a legislative history have their voting records linked below. Unlike other bill tracking utilities, nonpartisan Washington Votes includes all state legislative actions – and it is searchable! Reviewing a candidate’s voting history can tell you a lot about them.
  • The LWV sends candidate questionnaires to all filed candidates. If completed, we will link to the candidate’s responses at Vote411.org. Check it out for side-by-side comparison of candidate responses.
  • Please note that when candidate did not respond with links to their campaign site, information about them was linked from nonpartisan sites such as Ballotpedia.
  • PDC is the state agency tracking campaign spending for local and state office. FEC is the federal agency tracking campaign spending for federal office. Be sure to follow the money. NOTE: Candidates running for office that does not include the entire county, and with less than 1,000 registered voters, and who expect to raise less than $5,000 are not required to file with the PDC.
  • In the News: after a google search of the candidate’s name, the most recent news article – if any – is selected for linking.
