League partnered with the Ellensburg Public Library, Associated Students of CWU, and CWU Libraries for a free public forum on Washington State’s 2024 Presidential Primary!

Washington’s Presidential Primary is a way for voters to help the major political parties choose presidential nominees and will be held March 12, 2024. Forum panelists explained how presidential primaries came to be what they are today, how to make sure your vote counts, and how to participate further in the nominating process. Panel members included:

- Marlene Pfeifer (Kittitas County Republican Party Chair)
- Jerry Pettit (Kittitas County Democratic Party Representative)
