Elected Officials

WELCOME!

The League of Women voters is a grassroots, nonprofit, nonpartisan political organization: it never supports or opposes any candidate or political party at any level of government. We promote voter education through sponsoring candidate events during which interested residents can learn more about elected officials and candidates for office.

CANDIDATE FORUMS

The League is experienced at moderating forums and debates, inviting all candidates who have filed for the positions featured in the forum (except those running unopposed), and ensuring that standards are maintained regarding time allowed for opening and closing statements, responses to questions and rebuttals. Questions are collected from the audience and screened to be sure that no candidates are singled out as the target of a question. All candidates answer the same questions.
