Our democracy is in jeopardy. This Call to Action is requesting that Tuesday you call Senator Cantwell (202-224-3441), Senator Murray (202-224-2621) and President Biden (202-456-1111) and ask them to make passage for the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Rights Advancement Act a priority.
The Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act will provide:
- Early voting
- Expansion of voting by mail
- Automatic voter registration
- Same day voter registration
- Banning of partisan gerrymandering
- Protection to voters with disabilities
- Protection against unlawful voter purges
- Protection against voter intimidation
- Campaign finance reform
