U.S. SENATE AND WASHINGTON SECRETARY OF STATE CANDIDATE FORUMS ANNOUNCED

The League of Women Voters of Washington’s Education Fund, in partnership with The Spokesman-Review and KSPS-TV, will hold candidate debates for the United States Senate and Secretary of State races at Gonzaga University in Spokane. Senate candidates Patty Murray and Tiffany Smiley and Secretary of State candidates Julie Anderson and Steve Hobbs have all confirmed they will attend. The Spokane Area League of Women Voters are providing volunteers to staff the event.

The candidate debates will be held at the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center at Gonzaga University in Spokane on October 23, 2022, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free to the public, but tickets must be obtained through the Spokesman-Review.

The candidate debates will be aired and recorded for viewing by voters throughout the state. See TVW and area public broadcasters for times.

The public is invited to submit questions for the candidates.
