Locally, our 2024 election results are certified by the Canvassing Board on November 26, and certified statewide on December 5, 2024 by the Secretary of Washington State.

The League of Women Voters envisions a democracy where every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge and the confidence to participate. All campaign rhetoric aside, our elections continue to be free, fair, and accurate. This is due to two sets of folks: election workers and candidates for office. These fellow citizens – who are our neighbors, friends, and family – have bolstered our vision of democracy. Some of them put their lives on hold to run for office to give you, the voter, a choice. Others worked hard to ensure our elections were transparent, accurate, and honest. By participating in this way, candidates and election workers have made our democracy stronger. We owe them our sincerest gratitude and thanks!
